Show Tips
JackRabbit NYC Running Show™

Welcome to Opening Day for Running in New York City. At the JackRabbit NYC Running Show™ you’ll find all the gear, information, and inspiration you need to get out there and get fit this spring! The show features 30,000 square feet of expo space with the top brands in running gear. Stop by the JackRabbit treadmills to get some advice on what kind of running shoes you need, then browse the booths of the top shoe brands in the industry to find a pair that suits you perfectly. The rest of the expo offers all of the gear that makes running interesting and enjoyable, with great clothing selections, nutrition, heart rate monitors, and gadgets to make running easier and fun.

The show also features tons of education and information to help you get it right this year. If you’re just getting started, one of our clinics can help you pace yourself so you don’t get hurt. There are also clinics for first time half-marathoners, marathoners, and even ultramarathoners, as well as doing your first triathlon and even an Ironman. On Saturday, come meet star ultramarathoner Scott Jurek, hear about the trend toward barefoot or “minimalist” running, meet NYC Firefighter Matt Long, and find a great running club to join this year to stay motivated and meet great people.

The show is full of great deals. Your $10 ticket gets you $15 off your purchase total. The first 5,000 attendees get a free gigantic reusable JackRabbit bag — fill it with great gear at the show, then take it to the beach or your races this summer! If you’re already in the JackRabbit discount program, you’ll also receive your discount at the show. If not, then if you spend $100 at the show you’ll automatically receive 10% off all future purchases at JackRabbit — for life! In addition, anyone who spends over $100, over $200, or over $350 gets their choice of a free gift!
